Welcome to the Lennox School District State Preschool Program, where children play, sing, learn and thrive. The 2022-2023 school year promises to be filled with much growth and learning for your child through interactive and engaging activities and lessons.
Our preschool staff eagerly look forward to partnering with you and your child. The teachers are highly qualified and certified by the California Teachers Credential Commission with a Child Development Permit and are bilingual (English and Spanish). They are prepared to instruct your child in both languages to ensure your son/daughter is ready for kindergarten and beyond. The majority of our teachers have a Bachelor’s degree and are highly prepared to provide engaging and active learning activities to your child. Several teachers also hold a Masters Degree and use this knowledge to make a positive impact in your child's educational journey.
Our goal is to provide the best instructional program possible for all preschoolers via a well researched based curriculum named High Scope. Instruction is based on children's interests, the California Preschool Foundations, and is taught through both indirect and direct instruction. We focus on the child, follow his/her lead, and reinforce all areas of development, including socio-emotional foundations as evidenced through the qualities in the program titled Character Counts! and integrated approaches to the Center for the Study of Social-Emotional Foundations of Early Childhood Learning (CSEFEL). Our staff is committed to challenging all students at their developmental level while meeting their individual needs.

Bienvenido al Programa Preescolar Estatal del Distrito Escolar de Lennox, donde los niños juegan, cantan, aprenden y prosperan. Nuestro personal de preescolar espera ansiosamente asociarse con usted y su hijo.
